40th anniversary publication
07.05.2025
This year, the ATT turns 40. The organizing team has come up with something special: a free special issue for the celebration.
It includes a look back at ATT's history, statements from visitors, anecdotes and stories from exhibitors, and numerous reports on special ATT topics. We hope you enjoy reading it.
The issue will be distributed free of charge to ATT visitors at the entrance (only one copy at a time). Once it's gone, it's gone! Afterwards, the issue will also be available for download from this website.
We thank everyone who made this issue possible!

Background: On Saturday, May 10, 2025, the 40th "Astronomy and Technology Meeting" (ATT) will take place in Essen. To mark this anniversary, we are planning a commemorative publication that will also include short statements from visitors, for example: When was my first ATT? How many ATTs will it be this year? What funny, exciting, thrilling experience do I particularly remember? etc. The organizer reserves the right to make editorial cuts.
